Corporate Internship
Hybrid Remote - 3 days onsite per week
US Citizenship required Fairfax VA

Position Overview: Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is opening summer 2024 internship opportunities to computer science majors who have completed 90 semester hours in their junior year and are approaching their senior year. These internships allow students to gain hands-on experience with real-world projects under the supervision of NIS engineers and managers. As an intern, you will work in a team environment, delivering a working technical solution that various existing customers and government agencies can leverage.

This is a ten-week paid internship program. We ask that each intern be available to work the ten weeks and commit to working a minimum of 35 hours per week from June 2024 through mid-August 2024. This program is geared towards college students in the computer science/information technology area who are actively enrolled at an accredited university. Interns must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Our internship program is a gateway to real-world corporate experiences with Nationwide IT Services. It offers a platform for college students to engage in meaningful, hands-on work in a professional environment. We are committed to nurturing the next generation's workforce in the STEM field. As part of our internship curriculum, we encourage each intern to interact with various stakeholders within the company and participate in team-building activities with mentors and fellow interns while working on internal technical projects.

Job Qualifications:

• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience as a virtual team member using MS Teams, Office 365, and SharePoint with reliable internet, responsiveness, and availability. Upload bandwidth for pair programming and video sharing is required.
• Completed 90 semester hours in their junior year and are approaching their senior year.
