As an Associate Energy Program Manager, Cloud Operations & Innovation, you will support the evaluation of market strategies and conduct analysis of specific energy market dynamics, energy solutions, project economics, regulations, energy rates, and risks. You will identify and execute on energy supply opportunities, infrastructure development plans, and interconnection strategies to support Microsoft's datacenter growth. ResponsibilitiesDefine, develop, and maintains financial models and analytic documents to support the energy sourcing strategy for Microsoft's datacenters to ensure optimal costs and sustainability goals. Develop an understanding of business requirements, support development of business cases, and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute the strategy with minimal guidance.Support energy supply agreements and tariff negotiations to ensure that both price and capacity needs are met, while supporting Microsoft sustainability goals. Develops energy rate and tariff forecasts.Monitor energy market trends, regulations, and policies and identify opportunities for Microsoft to achieve capacity delivery, cost, and sustainability goals.Support the management and tracking of energy supply and connection contracts.Develop scope of work/agreements to support initiatives and projects and assist with consultant management.Embody our Culture and Values
