THE JOB:

Your role as a Hostperson is to welcome our guests warmly and professionally while keeping the outlet clean, organized, and well-stocked.You also help the food servers, bus persons, and food service runners with guest interactions and table details.

THE DAY TO DAY:

  • Liaising with Restaurant Reservations to convey special orders, cake orders, and special requests to management

  • Maintaining knowledge of daily activities, in-house groups, house count, table/seat/station numbers, table setups, room capacity, operating hours, price range, and dress code

  • Greeting guests promptly upon their arrival

  • Handling phone calls, managing reservations, and maintaining an accurate reservation book

  • Ensuring menus are up-to-date and in good condition

  • Communicating guest needs to the kitchen and management, and providing feedback on guest reactions and comments

  • Checking in regularly with waiting guests to assure them of table preparation progress

  • Monitoring and upkeeping cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas

  • Concluding shift responsibilities by shutting down the podium and forwarding phones to voicemail

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Previous food and beverage experience in a similar hospitality role

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

  • Positive attitude and passion for customer service

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • At least 18 years of age or older

  • Prior customer service experience

  • Work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays
