ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Work assigned stations; taking beverage orders from casino patrons, placing orders with bartenders and delivering beverages to guests in a timely manner.
  2. Responsible for assuring the highest quality guest experience by following the Thoughtful Service Model at all times. Work effectively with other employees to provide quality, efficient service.
  3. Accurately computes bill and accepts payment.
  4. Adhere to all state, county, and federal regulations, and the Company's internal controls, policies & procedures governing the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
  5. Monitor area for cleanliness and remove glasses, bottles, paper products, etc., and dispose of per operating procedures. Clean chairs/stools of crumbs and/or spills and spot check carpet for dirt and stains.
  6. Regular attendance required.
  7. Other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required. Three to six months of related experience and/or training in a similar food outlet, hotel or casino atmosphere. Must be able to work with the public and present a clean, courteous image.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess and be able to maintain a current Health Card, Liquor License, or other required certifications as required by geographical area of the property.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, and using whole numbers. Ability to operate using units of American money and weight measurement.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Point-of-sale system knowledge.

REASONING ABILITY

Remembering details, using arithmetic, reading, discriminating colors, working rapidly, concentrating amid distractions, and remembering names and faces.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending/stooping, balancing, kneeling, carrying, observing, lifting 25 lbs, hearing and observing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Inside, noisy, occasionally outside
